Grapes: 100% Marzemino.
Background: Stèfen is the ancient surname of the De Stefani family, as can be seen from old documents from 1624 found in Refrontolo. With this wine we wanted to propose again the ancient winemaking system of Marzemino di Refrontolo. In fact, the grapes are placed to dry naturally and the wine is fermented until completely exhausted of sugars. A dry wine of high alcohol content and great is therefore obtained
originality, which always gives new emotions with ageing.
Alcohol: 15-17.5% vol. (depending on the vintage).
Organoleptic characteristics: extremely deep ruby ​​red colour with garnet reflections, intense and enveloping aroma of ripe berries and violets, full flavour, of ripe cherries and blackberries.
Gastronomic pairing: goes masterfully with game and meats
on the spit and mature cheeses. Also ideal as a meditation wine.
