Malanotte del Piave is produced from Raboso grapes, the most famous native vine of the Piave Valley. To the characteristics of great wines for long aging, color, tannin and acidity, Malanotte del Piave combines intense aromas of blackberry and cherry. The proximity of the vineyard to the Adriatic Sea and the Dolomite mountains, the high intensity of the vines and the clay soil give the wine a very rich body and a natural harmony.
Organoleptic characteristics: intense ruby red color with garnet reflections. Full and broad bouquet, reminiscent of blackberries and cherry jam, melted chocolate and tobacco. Strong taste, dry and austere flavor, with a light basic acidity. Excellent extract, exuberant alcoholic endowment.
Food pairing: ideal with game (hare, pheasant or guinea fowl in salmì or with peverada sauce), grilled meats, mature cheeses.
